Celebrating My Dad - Air Force Academy Distinguished Graduate

Our big Colorado family took root in 1962 when my mom, Sally Mueh, was a student at CU Boulder, and my dad, Brig. Gen. (Ret.) Hans Mueh, entered the Air Force Academy as a cadet. My brother, sister, and I were all raised in Colorado, we stayed and grew our own families, and we were happily all together last night to celebrate our dad's accomplishments. Of the more than 55,000 graduates in the Air Force Academy's history, only 0.1% receive the Distinguished Graduate Award for a lifetime of distinctive achievements and enduring service to the nation, the Academy, and the country. Our dad became one of the 56 Distinguished Graduates last night in a wonderful ceremony at the Academy, and we couldn't be prouder!
