As the School Year Begins . . .

Like every parent, I’m nostalgic about my beautiful child as the school year starts. As a just-retired teacher, I’m even more wistful about this time of year. I’m so thankful for the first-class education my daughter is receiving in our Boulder Valley schools, and I’m so very grateful to all of my BVSD colleagues who’ve shaped her life and the lives of all our students. Over my 30+ years as a BVSD educator, I’ve had the great pleasure of welcoming thousands of kids and their families to our wonderfully diverse and inclusive Centennial Middle School community. If I’m elected to be Boulder’s House District 10 representative, I’ll carry all of these rich memories and experiences with me as I advocate for what our Colorado students need and deserve.
